Who is Me Missus?
Are you based in Australia?
Yes, our small team is 100% Australian based. No overseas call centres. No foreign accents. No AI voice agents.
Will I be dealing with the same person from Me Missus all the time?
Yes, we will assign you a dedicated "work-wife" from our team as this is how we are able to offer you the best possible service.You'll work with this person daily to make sure things are running smoothly.
What happens if my work wife is away for the day?
In the case that your work-wife is on annual leave or sick, one of our other team members will take their place temporarily.We're a small team so we're used to covering for each other and proving the same great level of service.
How does onboarding work?
Before we start, we'll have an onboarding session (via video call) so you can show us exactly how you like things done and what your weekly routines look like.You'll also need to give us access to any relevant software and accounts.
How do you handle my quotes and invoices?
We will need access to your accounting software - such as Xero, MYOB or QuickBbooks - to create quotes, invoices, and perform other bookkeeping tasks on your behalf.All quotes and invoices are sent to you for approval before they are sent to the customers.We dedicate time to following up on leads, quotes and chasing late payments.
How do you answer my calls? Will I need to give out a new phone number?
If you opt into our Call Centre, we will provide you with a new (virtual) phone number that will serve as your new business number. This is so our team can answer incoming calls and make outgoing calls on behalf of your business.For your virtual number, you can select from a local number, mobile number, toll-free or national number. We recommend a mobile number to allow us to also send and answer text messages.You will then need to update your website, Google entry and marketing collateral to direct to the new number. We also recommend you put call forwarding on any existing phone numbers.If you want to port your existing number, get in touch to understand your options.
How do you monitor my email?
For us to handle your email enquiries you will need to share the credentials for the email account with us so we can login in and reply to answer emails on your behalf.
What can I expect from appointment scheduling?
We work with you each week to decide on your availability for on-site quotes and jobs around booked work and other commitments. Once we understand your business principles and preferences, this is works like clockwork over time.As leads come in, we qualify them and create bookings depending on your availability. We confirm all appointments with customers the day before, supported by email/SMS reminders.
How do I get charged?
I have busy weeks and slow weeks, how does this work?
You'll notice our pricing is based on a minimum and maximum number of hours (eg 6-8 hours per week) as we know some weeks you'll be busy and some weeks you'll be quieter. This allows us to support you through the busy and quieter weeks without having to increase or decrease your retainer.
What happens if I go over my allocation of hours?
Again, we understand that work can eb and flow. If you're slightly over your allocated hours some weeks, that's all good with us.If we notice you are consistently going over your allocated number of hours we'll have a chat about increasing your retainer. Getting busier is a great sign that your business is heading in the right direction.
What happens on public holidays?
We don't work on public holidays (unless you'd like us to).Your weekly hours will be spread across the days preceding or following the public holiday.If you have your phones answered by us, your phones will have automated out-of-hours support.
Am I locked into a contract?
There is no lock-in contact. You are free to terminate at any time with just 14 days notice. This gives us enough time to hand things back over.
What happens if I need more/less hours?
No worries. With our flexible plans you can scale up or down at any time.
